I use Clorox Outdoor Bleach in a heart sprayer....a little scrubbing with a long handled brush power be called for in both cases. The outside decolor does non harm any vegetation, nor does it harm the surface of the wood corresponding chlorine bleach does. I mix a fewer drops of liquid dish detergent in with the water/bleach solution to aid it adhere to the surface better. Rinse off fountainhead after it does it's job.

Clorox kills mold.

Clorox works great and also takes determine off logarithm homes that get snow built up more or less them. We take over used it for years.

Make you tested pressure washing it before spray bleach?

Any you use to unused it (perchance wet and blank out), I would consider painting it with mold fighting key.
